Panes
The dialog consists of 2 panes:
(1) If Entities is selected from the Report/Define Real-Time Plots menu, the left pane displays a list of Entities defined in your model. If Activities is selected, it will display a "tree" view of all hierarchical Processes and their Alternative Sub-processes, which you may use to navigate to the desired Activity or Process. If Connectors is selected, it will display a "tree" view of all hierarchical Processes and their Alternative Sub-processes which you may use to navigate to the desired Connector. If Resources is selected, it will display a "tree" view which you may use to navigate to any Resource available in your model.
(2) The right pane displays all the available Real-Time plots for the Activity, Resource, Entity or Connector selected in the left pane. Those may be selected or deselected as you require.
Buttons
OK
This button closes the Real-Time Plots dialog and records all selections.
Help
This button displays this Help topic.
Expand All
This button is only displayed when the left pane contains a tree view. It will expand the entire tree.
Collapse All
This button is only displayed when the left pane contains a tree view. It will collapse the entire tree.
Select All
This button selects all real-time plots for the highlighted model element.
Deselect All
This button deselects all real-time plots for the highlighted model element.
Set Plot Properties
This button presents a dialog for each selected report where you specify several specific properties for the Real-Time Plot when created. See Real-Time Plot Properties for a description.
Delete Properties
This button removes any properties set by the button above for the selected plots. They will instead use the values assigned automatically by SIMPROCESS.
To Define a Real-Time Plot
1. Highlight the model element you wish to get real-time plots for (entities, resources, processes/activities or connectors) from the pane on the left.
2. Select the real-time plot(s) you wish to produce. You may use the Select All or Deselect All buttons as appropriate. Clicking to select a single plot will deselect all those already selected. To select multiples, shift-click to select a contiguous set of plots, or control-click to select or deselect individual items.
3. Set any properties you wish via the Set Plot Properties button.
4. Click the OK button.
