This Properties dialog allows you to specify values to be used in the display of Real-Time Plots.
Dialog Field Definitions
Graph Name: The text entered here will be used as the plot title.
X-Axis Label: The text to be used for the X-Axis legend.
Y-Axis Label: The text to be used for the Y-Axis legend.
X Axis Type: For some Trace plots, this section will appear with two radio buttons. The first of these is labeled Standard Axis and will enable the selection of Simulation Time Units. Values may be selected from Nanoseconds, Microseconds, Milliseconds, Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, Months or Years. The second radio button is labeled Date Axis. When selected, the Label Format field will be enabled and allow a choice of the Date, Time or Date and Time options. This results in the use of the simulation's date and/or time along the X axis of the plot. See Chapter 8 of the SIMPROCESS User's Manual for more information on the use of X Axis Type options and the types of plots where they will appear.
Value Time Units: For some plots, this will allow you to specify the units of measure for the Y-axis. Values may be selected from Nanoseconds, Microseconds, Milliseconds, Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, Months or Years.
Hide Plot at Simulation Start: When selected, this plot will not be automatically displayed at simulation start, but will instead be displayed on request by using the Display Real-Time Plots menu item or toolbar button.
Display Plot on Remote Server: When selected, this plot will display on a remote server. This is a plug-in capability that is licensed separately. See Chapter 8 of the SIMPROCESS User's Manual for details on use.
Remote Server URL: The URL of the remote server on which the plot is to be displayed. This will take a form similar to rmi://localhost/, where localhost refers to the same system on which SIMPROCESS is running and may be changed to a valid Internet Protocol (IP) address or host name. See Chapter 8, Displaying Plots Remotely, in the SIMPROCESS User's Manual for information.
Comment: You may optionally enter descriptive text in this field.
Note: If you leave any of the Label fields empty, default values will be provided.
