This item displays the Global Attribute Definitions dialog, where you can create, modify or delete Global Attributes for entities, entity types, resources, activities, and the model.
There are five tabs across the top of the dialog, labeled Entity, Entity Type, Resource, Activity and Model. Except as otherwise noted, the behavior of each is the same and is described below.
Buttons
Add creates a new Global Attribute of the type specified and displays an Attribute Properties dialog for the new attribute.
Edit will be enabled when an attribute in the list is selected. It will display an Attribute Properties dialog for you to modify the selected attribute's properties. Double-clicking an attribute in the list will behave as if the Edit button had been clicked for that attribute.
Copy will be enabled when an attribute in the list is selected. It will create a duplicate of the selected attribute, then display an Attribute Properties dialog for you to set the duplicate attribute's properties.
Remove will be enabled when an attribute in the list is selected. It will remove the selected attribute from the list.
Undo will be enabled when an attribute has been deleted via the Remove button above. It will restore the most recently removed attribute to the list. When no more removed attributes are available, it will once again become disabled.
Local will appear on all tabs except Model. It will display a dialog listing all items in the model of the specified type (i.e., Entity, Resource, Process or Activity) that contain local attribute definitions. See View Local Attributes for more information.
